URBAN EDGE
WASHINGTON DC / LOGAN CIRCLE

"Sharing a dialogue about art with Allison has helped us to understand and articulate our tastes. We have a great deal of respect for Allison's approach, which has allowed us to develop a better eye for art."
— Washington, D.C. clients
To complete the transition from a traditional house in the suburbs to an industrial loft in Logan Circle, this couple required artwork that would speak to their new urban lifestyle. Preferring edgy to safe, the clients selected works that combine surface beauty with underlying tension. For example, a glass-smooth painting vibrates with jazz-like energy thanks to multi-layered color and intersecting lines and grids, while an Andy Warhol cow print brings some "pop" to the collection.
