Sightline worked with the owner of this newly renovated town house to find artworks that would anchor the light and airy interior spaces. The collection is eclectic, building on the owner's prior holdings. It includes traditional portraiture, abstract paintings, color and black and white photography, engravings, minimalist prints and unique works on paper. A common thread is that each work has a strong presence, due to composition or story or both. Donald Judd, Robert Mapplethorpe and Jacob Kainen are showcased in the living room, where the owner often entertains friends, colleagues and clients. Interior design by J.D. Ireland.
