Faced with bare walls in her home office, this client set out to find an artwork that she could contemplate, but not be distracted by, while she works. She landed on a grid-based abstract composition, with delicate drops of paint in cerulean and Prussian blue. For her living room, furnished in a traditional style and central to the social life of the home, she chose a vibrant, colorful painting that references lush foliage. Each work helps to set the tone of the room in which it hangs.
